Storm damage and insurance claims

Storm damage and insurance claims in Northwest and Northeast Arkansas

Hail, wind, tornado and falling-tree damage. We tarp and protect fast, document everything for your insurer and rebuild the roof, gutters and siding.

Chapter 01

What storm damage looks like, including the kind you cannot see from the yard

Arkansas gets spring and summer hailstorms, high winds and the occasional tornado, and the heavy tree cover turns a bad gust into a falling limb. Elite handles four kinds of trouble: tornado damage, roof damage from missing shingles to major repairs, storm damage after heavy rain, hail or wind, and the leaky roof that shows up the day after.

Some of it is obvious. A tree limb through the deck is the kind of damage Allison Miller's family dealt with, and a roof torn open to the rafters is not hard to spot. The rest hides: hail bruising and loosened granules, shingles lifted by wind, a slow leak that only shows as a stain weeks later. A roof can look fine from the ground and still be compromised.

That is why an inspection after severe weather is worth having even when nothing seems wrong. Elite offers free roof inspections across Northwest and Northeast Arkansas to check for problems caused by hail, wind or other severe weather.

Tarp first, document everything, then rebuild

Storms and unexpected leaks cannot wait, so Elite's emergency response team serves both Northwest and Northeast Arkansas. The first job is to stop more damage. One homeowner wrote in a Google review: "Tonight, in the middle of the night, we received a message that two roofers were on their way to our house to cover it with tarps because rain popped into the forecast unexpectedly and they didn't want our home to have any damage." That is Cami English, describing a roof that was only half finished.

Next comes the paper trail. Elite works directly with insurance providers to document and process hail, wind or fire damage claims. Shea C, whose home took heavy damage in the April 2025 storms in Northwest Arkansas and needed a roof, gutters, siding and windows, put it this way in a Google review: "He coordinated pictures and statements and assessments for the insurance company, made sure we knew when the contractors would show up."

Then the permanent repair. Depending on what the storm did, that can mean a new roof, gutters, siding, windows or all of them, and Elite's remodel crew can rebuild after hail, wind or fire damage inside the house too. The same crew that tarps the roof can see the repair through to the cleanup.

Chapter 03

The first hours after a storm, and who decides what gets paid

If your roof leaks after a storm, contact Elite right away. They will provide emergency protection and inspect for permanent repair solutions. Until someone arrives, stay off a damaged roof, take photos from the ground, and move belongings away from wet ceilings.

A word on insurance, plainly: coverage is your insurer's decision, not Elite's and not ours. What Elite does is document the hail, wind or fire damage clearly and work directly with the provider so the claim is built on photographs, statements and assessments rather than guesses. They do not promise an outcome.

Fire is part of the picture too. Elite recently worked on a home restoration project that began after a fire caused by outdoor burning, a reminder of how quickly it happens when a burn ban is ignored. No one was hurt, and the fence, roof and exterior repairs are the kind of work they take on after a fire. Call (479) 231-1199 for Northwest Arkansas, or the Jonesboro line at (870) 277-4242 for Northeast Arkansas.

"I've never experienced this level of service from ANY contractor!" Cami English, Google review, after a crew came out at night to tarp her roof.
